Medical Philosophy and Personal Interests
Michelle provides healthcare, support, and education to women of all ages. Her goal is to help them feel empowered and healthy physically, emotionally and spiritually. She enjoys teens with their newfound sexuality; young women with their contraceptive, pregnancy, and relationship/parenting issues; and older women as they finally take a breath and begin to care for themselves as well as their families. She feels privileged to be allowed to participate in this full circle of life.
Michelle’s nursing career in women's health started in 1980. While raising her three children she worked in labor & delivery, caring for women in labor. Since 1998 she has worked in Gresham at Mt Hood Women's Health as a certified nurse-midwife.
She indulges in her love of horses, of which she has two. She also enjoys skiing, hiking and working in her garden. Whenever possible she escapes to California to visit her two grandchildren and three children.
